Orthodontist in Berlin, Wisconsin

Bright Orthodontics has a full orthodontic office in Berlin, Wisconsin, at 169 Memorial Dr. Board-certified orthodontist Dr. Adam Veit treats children, teens and adults here with braces, LightForce® 3D-printed braces and Invisalign® clear aligners. Call (920) 361-3191 to request an appointment at the Berlin office. Berlin families do not have to drive to a bigger city to see an orthodontic specialist. Our Berlin office sits on Memorial Dr, a few hundred feet from Berlin High School and Berlin Middle School, and about two tenths of a mile from ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin. It is the kind of location you already pass on a normal weekday, which is exactly the point. When a family in Berlin decides it is time to talk about braces, the appointment should fit around school, work and practice, not swallow an afternoon. That is the practice we have tried to build here. Dr. Veit is an orthodontist, and orthodontics is all he does. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and he sees Berlin patients in Berlin. Our team is warm, our schedule is flexible, and our goal is the same one we have carried across all four of our Wisconsin offices: to make the whole journey a good experience, not just the day the braces come off.

Why Berlin Families Choose Bright Orthodontics

  • A specialist, in town. Berlin is a city of about five and a half thousand people. It would be easy for a practice to treat it as an outpost and see patients twice a month. We did not do that. The Berlin office is a real office with a real schedule, staffed by the same team that has cared for families in this region for years.
  • A 5.0 star rating. Bright Orthodontics holds a 5.0 star Google rating at every one of our four offices, including Berlin, across 272 reviews practice-wide. Ratings do not straighten teeth, but a perfect rating maintained across four separate communities says something about how families are treated when the appointment does not go to plan.
  • Four offices, one record. If you move, change jobs or simply find yourself in Oshkosh on the day of an appointment, you can be seen at whichever of our offices is easiest that week. Our Ripon office is about a twenty-two minute drive from Berlin, and Oshkosh and Fond du Lac are both options for families who commute.
  • Straight answers about cost. Orthodontic treatment is a real investment for a Berlin family, and vague answers help nobody. We explain the fee, the payment options, what insurance is likely to cover and what our family discounts look like before treatment starts. See orthodontic financing for the full picture.
  • Technology that earns its place. Digital scanning instead of impression trays. 3D-printed custom brackets. Aligner planning by an orthodontist with fellowship-level aligner training. We adopt technology when it improves treatment or makes it more comfortable, not because it photographs well.

Getting to Our Berlin Office

Our Berlin office is at 169 Memorial Dr, on the same street as Berlin High School and Berlin Middle School, with parking on site. Highway 49 runs through Berlin, and it is the corridor most of our patients use to reach us.

Coming fromDistanceTypical drive
Princeton, WIabout 17.7 milesabout 24 minutes
Wautoma, WIabout 21.6 milesabout 28 minutes
Our Ripon officeabout 13.3 milesabout 22 minutes

Princeton sits on Highways 23 and 49, so the drive north to Berlin is a straightforward run for Princeton families. Wautoma sits where Highway 21 meets the Highway 49 corridor. That puts our Berlin office comfortably inside a half hour for most of northern Green Lake and Waushara County. The office is also a short distance from ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin, if you are already making a medical trip into town.

About Berlin, the Community We Serve

Berlin sits on the Fox River in Green Lake County, at the Waushara County line. It is a small city with a long civic memory and a genuinely used riverfront. It is not a place that needs a marketing department to explain itself.

Riverside Park is the anchor. At 38 acres it is Berlin’s largest park facility. It has more than 2,000 feet of sea wall along the river, a boat launch, fishing piers, a campground, a nine-hole disc golf course and the Clark School Museum. It is where a lot of Berlin childhoods happen. A fair number of our patients turn up for appointments straight from it. Nathan Strong Park, with its Civil War monument, carries the older half of the city’s story.

The Berlin Area School District is small and tightly knit. Three schools serve the whole city, and two of them sit on the same street as our office. That proximity is not a marketing line, it is a scheduling advantage. A Berlin Middle School student can finish the school day and be in our chair minutes later. No parent has to burn a half day of leave driving to Oshkosh.

We also see families from Princeton, Wautoma and the smaller communities north and west of the city, in both Green Lake and Waushara counties. For many of them, Berlin is the closest orthodontic specialist there is.

Your Board-Certified Orthodontist on Memorial Drive

An orthodontist is a dental specialist. After dental school, Dr. Adam Veit completed a full orthodontic residency through the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program, earned a master’s degree from the Uniformed Services University, and went on to earn board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics. He holds a DDS from the University of Minnesota. Before returning home to Wisconsin, Dr. Veit practiced in the United States, Japan and Italy, and served nine years as a Naval Officer.

In small Wisconsin communities, a lot of orthodontic care is provided by general dentists who offer braces or aligners alongside cleanings and fillings. That is a real choice, and families should make it with clear information. The difference is straightforward: a general dentist treats the whole mouth, and an orthodontist spends every working day moving teeth and guiding jaw growth. When a case turns out to be more complicated than it first looked, that depth is what you are paying for. You do not need a referral from your dentist to book with us, and many Berlin families come to us directly.

Dr. Veit also completed the four-month Aligner Intensive Fellowship, an advanced training program focused specifically on clear aligner treatment. It is a useful thing to know if you are weighing aligners against braces, because the plan behind the aligners matters far more than the plastic itself.

Orthodontic Services for Berlin Families

Every smile is unique, which is why Bright Orthodontics provides customized orthodontic solutions for children, teens, and adults. From traditional braces to advanced clear aligner treatment, we’re committed to delivering comfortable, efficient care with lasting results.

Braces for children and teens

Traditional metal braces are still the workhorse of orthodontics, and for good reason. They handle nearly every case, they are always working because they are never taken out, and today's brackets are far smaller and more comfortable than the ones parents remember. Clear ceramic brackets are available for patients who would rather they not be obvious. Learn more about types of braces or start with our braces overview.

LightForce 3D-printed braces

LightForce brackets are 3D printed for one specific patient, using a digital scan of that patient's own teeth. Instead of choosing from a tray of standard brackets, Dr. Veit designs a bracket for each individual tooth. The material is translucent, so the brackets blend with tooth color, and the planning is fully digital, which means no trays of impression putty. Read the full explanation on our LightForce braces page.

Invisalign clear aligners

Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable, custom-made aligners instead of brackets and wires. You take them out to eat, brush and floss, and you change to the next set on the schedule Dr. Veit sets. Not every case is a good aligner case, and an honest answer about that is part of the first visit. Our Invisalign page covers how treatment works, who it suits and what to expect.

Early treatment for younger children

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic check-up around age seven. Most seven-year-olds who come to our Berlin office need nothing at all beyond a note to check back in a year, which is a perfectly good outcome. For the smaller group who do need help, catching a crossbite, a narrow arch or a crowding problem while the jaw is still growing can make later treatment simpler. See early orthodontic treatment.

Teens and adults

Teenagers are the classic orthodontic patient, and we build treatment around school photos, sports mouthguards and instruments. Adults are a growing share of our practice too, and adult treatment is often quieter and shorter than people expect. See teen treatment and adult orthodontics.

Adult Orthodontics

Adult orthodontic treatment improves alignment, bite function, and overall smile appearance using modern techniques designed for comfort, efficiency, and long-term stability.

"Bright Orthodontics is absolutely amazing! They are fantastic with little kids and know exactly how to make them feel comfortable and at ease in the chair. The entire staff is incredibly understanding and patient with all our questions. I love how open and transparent they are about the treatment processes, so there are never any surprises. On top of the stellar care, their services are actually affordable, and they work with you to make it fit your budget. Highly recommend them to any family in Wisconsin looking for top-notch orthodontic care!"
I am glad that I chose Bright Orthodontics, Dr. Veit and his team, for my son’s braces and jaw expansion. They are always so welcoming and helpful when we arrive for appointments and when I call to ask questions about any concerns I may be having, as this is my first time having a child who has had to have braces. The other great thing I love is that they have in house financing available with an affordable down payment that works with your budget to pay for this investment in your child’s new smile or even yours. I have attached my son’s written review on what he thinks of Bright Orthodontics also from the survey they ask their patients to know how well they are performing while he is undergoing his teeth care with them. If you have to choose somewhere to take yourself or your children I highly recommend Dr. Veit and his team. You won’t be disappointed.

Best experience at any orthodontist I've ever had
We've have had a wonderful experience with our oldest thus far! Even when it comes to our son having some struggles with proper brushing etc. Doc was great at giving extra pointers to avoid further issues. We are almost done with his treatment plan and most definitely will be back with our youngest if it's needed! Thank you for all that you do!
Kind and helpful staff. Easy to work with. Very clean and organized.
Everyone is so nice and I smile with confidence
Great for all ages, looking forward to continuing to visit the team at Bright!
Great orthodontic experience. Great staff. Transparent treatment plan. Great experience.
Today was my last day with braces, as happy as I am to have them off and not to mention how amazing my results were. I am also sad because the time is coming where I no longer get to visit my orthodontic office. They all truly have been a piece of me over the past 2 years and I honestly looked forward to going to all of my appointments. I first heard about Bright Orthodontics back in April of 2023 and a year later I got braces on at 36 years old. My smile has always been something I’ve been self-conscious about. Even though others would say it “wasn’t that bad,” to me it was. On top of that, I’ve always had pretty big anxiety when it comes to anything dental. But from the moment I stepped into Bright Orthodontics, everything changed. The office is so welcoming, bright, and fun—you’re greeted with smiles everywhere you look. Dr. V has such a soft, gentle approach and is truly knowledgeable in everything he does, which instantly put me at ease. Every single person there is so friendly and genuinely happy, and you can feel that energy the entire time you’re there. I never feel like just another appointment—I always leave feeling good. They truly have something special, and I can’t say enough amazing things about this team. If you’ve ever considered orthodontic treatment—whether for your kids or even yourself—do it. Adults can absolutely have braces too, and I highly recommend reaching out to Bright Orthodontics. Thank you Dr. V and the entire Bright Ortho team! I can’t stop smiling 😁
I had a great experience with Bright Orthodontics! I came in for Invisalign retreatment after not wearing my retainer from previous orthodontic treatment years ago. The doctor and staff were amazing—friendly, professional, and made every visit easy and comfortable. My Invisalign treatment went smoothly, and I even finished a few months earlier than expected. If you’re looking for an orthodontist for Invisalign, braces, or overall smile correction, I highly recommend Bright Orthodontics. I’m so happy with my results!
I have the pleasure of being treated at Bright. The staff is so professional and helpful from when you walk in the door. It has a friendly family environment and you can see that they really hold value to their practice. I couldnt be happier with my entire experience that ive had. I used to have large gaps between my teeth and I thought that my smile fit well with my character. However, that was just because I was used to it since I never thought about getting it corrected. After the first consultation, I knew that I was going to go through the process. I was given the opportunity to either go the route of braces or Invisalign. I chose the latter and im so happy that I did. I was given very clear, easy, and capable instructions. All I had to do was follow-up and my progress speaks for itself. I'm so happy that I went with Bright. If you're in doubt, just go see for yourself. It's 100% worth it

Orthodontic treatment is a personalized process. These questions can help you better understand your options and what to expect.

Berlin, Wisconsin 54923, in Green Lake County, on the Fox River. New Berlin is a separate city near Milwaukee, roughly ninety miles southeast of us, and the two are often mixed up in search results. If you are looking for an orthodontist in Berlin near Green Lake, Princeton or Ripon, our office at 169 Memorial Dr is the one you want.

No. You can call our Berlin office directly and book. Many patients are referred by their family dentist and that is welcome, but a referral is not required to be seen or, in most cases, for insurance to apply. Our why choose us page explains the difference between an orthodontist and a general dentist offering braces.

The fee depends on what the case actually needs, so we quote it after Dr. Veit examines the teeth, not before. Monthly payment plans are standard here, we take most major insurance, and we offer family discounts when more than one member of a household starts treatment. All of it is laid out on our orthodontic financing page.

Most braces patients are seen about every six to eight weeks, and most Invisalign patients less often than that. Visits between the first appointment and the last are usually short. We schedule Berlin families around the school day wherever we can, and we will tell you at the start roughly how many visits to expect.

Berlin itself, plus Princeton, Wautoma and the surrounding Green Lake and Waushara county communities. Princeton is about a twenty-four minute drive and Wautoma about twenty-eight. If our Ripon office is closer for you, we can see you there instead.
