Orthodontist in Ripon, Wisconsin

Bright Orthodontics has a full orthodontic office in Ripon, Wisconsin, at 926 S Grove St. Dr. Adam Veit is a board-certified orthodontist, and he treats children, teens and adults here. Care includes braces, LightForce® 3D-printed braces and Invisalign® clear aligners. Call (920) 748-6628 to request an appointment. Ripon is a town of about 7,800 people that behaves like a much larger one. It has a college, a working downtown and a school district that pulls from miles of surrounding countryside. What it does not have much of is specialists. Families here are used to driving to Oshkosh or Fond du Lac for care that ought to be closer. Orthodontics does not have to be one of those drives. Our Ripon office is a real office on S Grove St, staffed by the same team and run by the same doctor as our other three. If you are looking for an orthodontist in Ripon, you can be seen in Ripon.

Why Ripon Families Choose Bright Orthodontics

  • A specialist without the drive. The nearest alternative for most families here is a trip to a bigger city. Our Ripon office means the specialist visit takes an hour of your day, not an afternoon.
  • A 5.0 star rating. Our Ripon office holds a 5.0 star Google rating across 42 reviews. All four Bright Orthodontics offices hold 5.0 stars, across 272 reviews in total. Ratings do not straighten teeth. But a perfect rating held across four separate communities says something about how families are treated when a day goes sideways.
  • One doctor who knows the case. Bright Orthodontics is owner operated. Dr. Veit is the doctor at every office. You are not handed between clinicians, and nobody reads your chart fresh at each visit.
  • Four offices, one set of records. If Ripon is awkward one week, you can be seen at our Oshkosh office, our Fond du Lac office or our Berlin office. Same plan, same records, no restart.
  • Honest answers about cost. Braces are a serious expense for a family. Vague answers help nobody. We explain the fee, the payment options and the likely insurance coverage before treatment starts. We also offer family discounts when more than one person in a household is treated. See orthodontic financing.
  • The same technology as the big-city office. Digital scanning instead of impression trays. Custom brackets printed for one patient. Aligner planning by an orthodontist with fellowship-level aligner training. None of it is held back for the larger markets. A small office is not the same thing as a limited one.

Getting to Our Ripon Office

Our office is at 926 S Grove St, on the south side of Ripon. Three state highways feed into town, and between them they cover most of where our Ripon patients come from.

Coming fromDistanceTypical drive
Green Lake, WIabout 7.6 milesabout 14 minutes
Markesan, WIabout 15 milesabout 19 minutes
Waupun, WIabout 20 milesabout 25 minutes

Highway 23 runs east from Green Lake straight into Ripon, and it meets Highway 49 in town. Highway 49 is the road up from Waupun. Highway 44 comes in from Markesan on the east side of the city. If you live along any of the three, the office is a straightforward run rather than a cross-country trip.

That geography is the whole point of keeping an office here. A family in Green Lake is closer to our Ripon chair than to almost any other orthodontic specialist. So is a family in Markesan. Fourteen minutes is a school-night appointment. Fifty minutes each way is not.

About Ripon, the Community We Serve

Ripon is a small city that carries an outsized story. The Little White Schoolhouse here is a national landmark, known as the birthplace of the Republican Party, and the town has never stopped being proud of it. History is not decoration in Ripon. It is maintained.

The other half of the identity is Ripon College, a private liberal arts college of roughly 700 students on a 250-acre campus at 300 W Seward St. A college that size in a city this size changes the place. It keeps a younger population in town, it fills the calendar, and it makes Ripon feel more connected than its population suggests.

Downtown life gathers on The Square, the historic commercial district at the center of town. It is walkable, it is genuinely used, and the summer calendar runs through it, including free Friday evening concerts on the Village Green. Ripon Main Street keeps that programming going year after year.

The calendar here is programmed, not accidental. Ripon Main Street runs events through the year, from the summer concert series to the kickoff of the fall shopping season. In a town this size that work is visible, and so are the people doing it. Several of them sit in our chairs.

There is one thing about Ripon that we plan around deliberately. The city itself is small. The office serves a much wider area. The 54971 delivery area reaches well past the city limits into the surrounding townships. Those households are a large share of who we treat. So when we talk about Ripon families, we mean the farm roads too, not just the city grid.

We see patients from Green Lake, Markesan, Waupun and the smaller communities between them. For many of those families, Ripon is the closest orthodontic specialist there is.

A Board-Certified Orthodontist, in Town

Specialists are thin on the ground in this part of Fond du Lac County. That is worth saying plainly, because it shapes the choice families face here.

Dr. Adam Veit is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Board certification is voluntary. An orthodontist who wants it has to submit finished cases to a panel of other board-certified orthodontists and let them be judged. Plenty of good clinicians never go through it. The ones who do have chosen to have their work examined by their peers.

Dr. Veit’s training runs deeper than the usual small-town résumé. He earned his DDS at the University of Minnesota. He completed a full orthodontic residency through the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program, then a master’s degree at the Uniformed Services University. He practiced in the United States, Japan and Italy, and served nine years as a Naval Officer before bringing the practice home to Wisconsin.

Orthodontics is the only thing he does. In smaller markets a lot of braces and aligners are handled by general dentists alongside cleanings and fillings. That is a fair option and families should weigh it openly. The difference is depth. A general dentist looks after the whole mouth. An orthodontist spends years past dental school on one narrow field, and then every working day inside it.

You do not need a referral to see us. Ripon families call our office directly all the time. Our why choose us page sets the two paths side by side, and our board certification page explains what the credential actually involves.

Orthodontic Care for Ripon Families

Every smile is unique, which is why Bright Orthodontics provides customized orthodontic solutions for children, teens, and adults. From traditional braces to advanced clear aligner treatment, we’re committed to delivering comfortable, efficient care with lasting results.

Braces for children and teens

Metal braces handle almost every case, and they work around the clock because they never come out. Today's brackets are far smaller than the ones parents remember. Clear ceramic brackets are there for teens who would rather not advertise it. Start with our braces overview, then compare the types of braces.

LightForce 3D-printed braces

LightForce brackets are 3D printed for one patient, from a digital scan of that patient's own teeth. Dr. Veit designs a bracket for each individual tooth rather than choosing from a standard tray. The material is translucent, so brackets blend with tooth color. The planning is fully digital, so there is no impression putty. Our LightForce braces page explains it in full.

Invisalign clear aligners

Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners in place of brackets and wires. You take them out to eat and brush, and you change sets on the schedule Dr. Veit sets. Some cases suit aligners beautifully and some do not. You will get a straight answer about yours at the first visit. See our Invisalign page.

Early treatment for younger children

The American Association of Orthodontists suggests a first check-up around age seven. Most seven-year-olds need nothing yet, and hearing that is a good outcome. For the smaller group who do need help, catching a crossbite or a crowded arch while the jaw is still growing can make later treatment simpler and shorter. See early orthodontic treatment.

Teens and adults

Teenagers are the classic orthodontic patient, and we plan around school photos, sports and instruments. Adults are a growing share of our practice. Adult treatment is often quieter and shorter than people expect. See teen treatment and adult orthodontics.

Adult Orthodontics

Adult orthodontic treatment improves alignment, bite function, and overall smile appearance using modern techniques designed for comfort, efficiency, and long-term stability.

"Bright Orthodontics is absolutely amazing! They are fantastic with little kids and know exactly how to make them feel comfortable and at ease in the chair. The entire staff is incredibly understanding and patient with all our questions. I love how open and transparent they are about the treatment processes, so there are never any surprises. On top of the stellar care, their services are actually affordable, and they work with you to make it fit your budget. Highly recommend them to any family in Wisconsin looking for top-notch orthodontic care!"
I am glad that I chose Bright Orthodontics, Dr. Veit and his team, for my son’s braces and jaw expansion. They are always so welcoming and helpful when we arrive for appointments and when I call to ask questions about any concerns I may be having, as this is my first time having a child who has had to have braces. The other great thing I love is that they have in house financing available with an affordable down payment that works with your budget to pay for this investment in your child’s new smile or even yours. I have attached my son’s written review on what he thinks of Bright Orthodontics also from the survey they ask their patients to know how well they are performing while he is undergoing his teeth care with them. If you have to choose somewhere to take yourself or your children I highly recommend Dr. Veit and his team. You won’t be disappointed.
We absolutely LOVE Dr. V and bright orthodontics!!! They were incredible with my son, Wesley, and his smile is just perfect! My daughter Claire is now a patient there, and she says they are all so kind and fun! She looks forward to every appointment!

Best experience at any orthodontist I've ever had
We've have had a wonderful experience with our oldest thus far! Even when it comes to our son having some struggles with proper brushing etc. Doc was great at giving extra pointers to avoid further issues. We are almost done with his treatment plan and most definitely will be back with our youngest if it's needed! Thank you for all that you do!
Kind and helpful staff. Easy to work with. Very clean and organized.
Everyone is so nice and I smile with confidence
Great for all ages, looking forward to continuing to visit the team at Bright!
Great orthodontic experience. Great staff. Transparent treatment plan. Great experience.
Today was my last day with braces, as happy as I am to have them off and not to mention how amazing my results were. I am also sad because the time is coming where I no longer get to visit my orthodontic office. They all truly have been a piece of me over the past 2 years and I honestly looked forward to going to all of my appointments. I first heard about Bright Orthodontics back in April of 2023 and a year later I got braces on at 36 years old. My smile has always been something I’ve been self-conscious about. Even though others would say it “wasn’t that bad,” to me it was. On top of that, I’ve always had pretty big anxiety when it comes to anything dental. But from the moment I stepped into Bright Orthodontics, everything changed. The office is so welcoming, bright, and fun—you’re greeted with smiles everywhere you look. Dr. V has such a soft, gentle approach and is truly knowledgeable in everything he does, which instantly put me at ease. Every single person there is so friendly and genuinely happy, and you can feel that energy the entire time you’re there. I never feel like just another appointment—I always leave feeling good. They truly have something special, and I can’t say enough amazing things about this team. If you’ve ever considered orthodontic treatment—whether for your kids or even yourself—do it. Adults can absolutely have braces too, and I highly recommend reaching out to Bright Orthodontics. Thank you Dr. V and the entire Bright Ortho team! I can’t stop smiling 😁
I had a great experience with Bright Orthodontics! I came in for Invisalign retreatment after not wearing my retainer from previous orthodontic treatment years ago. The doctor and staff were amazing—friendly, professional, and made every visit easy and comfortable. My Invisalign treatment went smoothly, and I even finished a few months earlier than expected. If you’re looking for an orthodontist for Invisalign, braces, or overall smile correction, I highly recommend Bright Orthodontics. I’m so happy with my results!
I have the pleasure of being treated at Bright. The staff is so professional and helpful from when you walk in the door. It has a friendly family environment and you can see that they really hold value to their practice. I couldnt be happier with my entire experience that ive had. I used to have large gaps between my teeth and I thought that my smile fit well with my character. However, that was just because I was used to it since I never thought about getting it corrected. After the first consultation, I knew that I was going to go through the process. I was given the opportunity to either go the route of braces or Invisalign. I chose the latter and im so happy that I did. I was given very clear, easy, and capable instructions. All I had to do was follow-up and my progress speaks for itself. I'm so happy that I went with Bright. If you're in doubt, just go see for yourself. It's 100% worth it

Frequently Asked Questions

Orthodontic care is tailored to each patient. These questions can help you better understand the process and what to expect during treatment.

Ripon, Wisconsin 54971, in Fond du Lac County. There is a Ripon in California, and it turns up in search results for Wisconsin searches more often than you would expect. Ours is the one at 926 S Grove St, a few minutes from Ripon College and The Square.

Green Lake is about 7.6 miles and roughly 14 minutes on Highway 23. Markesan is about 15 miles and roughly 19 minutes on Highway 44. Waupun is about 20 miles and roughly 25 minutes on Highway 49. Most patients from those towns treat a Ripon appointment as a normal errand rather than a day out.

Yes, and adults of any age are welcome. Nationally about one in five orthodontic patients is over 21. The practical question for a student is timing, since treatment usually runs longer than a semester. Dr. Veit will map the visits against your calendar at the first appointment, and treatment can continue at our Oshkosh, Fond du Lac or Berlin office if that is easier during breaks.

Tell us the plan at the first visit and we will check it before treatment starts, so you know the numbers before you decide. Orthodontic benefits usually work differently from regular dental benefits, often as a lifetime maximum rather than a yearly one. Coverage under Wisconsin’s public programs is narrower and depends on the plan and the case, so it needs checking individually rather than answering on a website. Our orthodontic financing page explains how the money side works.

Call (920) 748-6628 and leave a message, and call our Oshkosh office as well if it is urgent. Most orthodontic problems are uncomfortable rather than dangerous, and many can be settled at home for a day or two. Our orthodontic emergency guide tells you what to try first and what genuinely needs to be seen quickly.

The first visit is a conversation, not a commitment. Dr. Veit will look, explain what he sees in plain language, and tell you honestly whether treatment is needed now, later or at all. If the answer is “check back next year,” that is what you will hear.
