Bright Orthodontics treats Green Lake patients at our Ripon office, about 7.6 miles and 14 minutes east on Highway 23. Dr. Adam Veit is a board-certified orthodontist and treats children, teens and adults there. Care includes braces, LightForce® 3D-printed braces and Invisalign® clear aligners.
Green Lake has the shortest drive of any town we serve without an office in it. Fourteen minutes. That is less time than families in bigger cities spend crossing their own town, and it is the single most useful fact on this page.
Highway 23 runs east out of Green Lake straight into Ripon, and our Ripon office is on the south side of the city. Measured, the trip is 7.6 miles and about 14 minutes.
Ripon is genuinely the closer of our two nearby offices. Berlin is about 10.6 miles and 16 minutes from Green Lake by Highway 49. Both work, and records move between our offices without restarting anything, but Ripon is the one we would send you to first.
At fourteen minutes, adjustment visits stop being events. You can take a mid-afternoon appointment and still be home before dinner is late.
This is the part of the service area that is personal for the practice. Dr. Adam Veit was born and raised in Fond du Lac. He is the son of Kirk Veit, a retired pediatrician who served as Medical Director at Agnesian HealthCare, so the family name has been attached to children’s health in this community for a long time.
He did not stay put. He earned his DDS at the University of Minnesota, completed a full orthodontic residency through the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program and a master’s degree at the Uniformed Services University, practiced in the United States, Japan and Italy, and served nine years as a Naval Officer.
Then he came home, and today he treats families ten minutes from where he grew up. Board certification by the American Board of Orthodontics came out of that same run of work: it is voluntary, and it requires submitting finished cases to a panel of board-certified orthodontists to be judged. Dr. Veit holds it.

Ripon, and by a real margin rather than a coin flip. Ripon is about 7.6 miles and 14 minutes east on Highway 23. Berlin is about 10.6 miles and 16 minutes by Highway 49. Both offices run off the same records with the same doctor, so a one-off visit to the other is easy, but Ripon is your home office.
It should not, and from Green Lake it barely can. The age-seven check exists because some problems are far easier to fix while a jaw is still growing, and those are exactly the ones a parent cannot see. Fourteen minutes is a small price for finding out that nothing needs doing.
Probably not exactly. Fourteen minutes is measured from the village center, and shoreline addresses can add or subtract several minutes depending on which side of the water you are on. Some south-shore addresses are closer to Ripon than the village is. Ask our team when you book rather than find out on the first drive.
The first appointment is an assessment and a conversation. You will be told what Dr. Veit sees, what he would do, and what happens if you wait.
